Pyroelectric Detector from Broadcom
AFBR-S6PY2572
Broadcom offers over 10 years’ experience in manufacturing patent-protected silicon-based thin-film pyroelectric detectors which are uniquely small, light, and robust compared to standard bulk material pyroelectric detectors for infrared sensing. Using standard and well-established semiconductor manufacturing methods, Broadcom leads the world in thin-film pyroelectric technology based around its in-house expertise. Compared to todays other infrared detectors Broadcom detectors perform much better in terms of response times (smaller thermal mass), responsivity and low power consumption.
