The LEDs are available in SMD housings with flat windows and lenses, as well as in TO housings with lenses. The main applications for these LEDs are disinfection and sensor technology, e.g. gas measurement. For disinfection, far UVC (235 nm) is safer for skin and eyes than deep UVC (255 nm to 280 nm). These UV LEDs are now available for sale from EQ Photonics GmbH. The LEDs are supplied in tape &amp; reel, gel box, tray or on star board.
