Laser welding is especially used to join components, which needed to be welded with a high welding speed, slim welding seam and with low thermal deformation. This joining methode ususally doesn\u2019t need filler material. It\u2019s fields of applications go from welding of gear- and car body components to manufacturing of pacemaker housings.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1644835958382{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}&#8221;]<strong><span style=\"font-size: 17px;\">Advantages of laser welding vs. traditional welding processes at a glance:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No tool-wearing, contact-less working<\/li>\n<li>Various types and thicknesses of materials are laser-weldable<\/li>\n<li>Low thermal impact on the workpiece due to short dwell time and heat affected area of the laser<\/li>\n<li>High welding speeds and at the same time high welding seam quality and almost no post-processing required \u2013 even at filigrane components<\/li>\n<li>High suitability for automation and high process stability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For metal laser welding typically <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eqphotonics.de\/en\/products\/beam-sources\/cw-qcw-fiber-laser\/cw-faserlaser\/#cw-rackmount\">CW fiber lasers<\/a> respectively <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eqphotonics.de\/en\/products\/beam-sources\/cw-qcw-fiber-laser\/qcw-faserlaser\/\">QCW fiber lasers<\/a> (micro welding) from Maxphotonics are recommended.
